If your neighbors wouldn't mind, you could probably just store it under a tarp.
Sheds really aren't that expensive. you can pick up a cheap DIY plastic shed for very little money. if that still isn't an option, go with a tarp. just park the thing next to your house and lay the tarp over it. if it's windy, make sure to stake it down.
you can rent a small garage in your city, this is were people stores the furnturs what they have no more room in, You have to pay a bit of money for it to be keepet in there, and or you can store at a friends garage also if they wont mind.
